U.S. congressman has issues over Olympiakos playing with NBA teams

U.S. congressman R. Peter King has sent a letter to David Stern about the NBA having games with a team that owes former NBA player Chris Morris and his agent Tom McLaughlin money on a contract that was not fully paid. I do not know if Stern knew about this when they scheduled the Olympiakos to come to the U.S. to play a couple of games. This has become strange situation that needs to be solved. King also said that the NBA should do something to ensure that American players get fair treatment in Europe. This right here does not make sense to me. What does the NBA have to do with American players playing in another league? They are basically working with a separate company in Europe, nothing to do with the NBA. The NBA have been playing with European clubs for some time now. It is a way to show respect to one another. I enjoy seeing NBA teams play teams in Europe. I’m not on the same page with David Stern about having a NBA team in Europe however. The time difference, for one, is going to be too much of a problem. Anyways, in summation, congressmen, stay away from the NBA. Stick with fixing the country’s problems and not worrying about two guys not getting paid from a European company.
